Every so often, a story of internet harmony enters your sphere, and you realize there is great good to the streams of information flowing all over the planet. I would not know Martynas Milkevicius but for the internet threads of friends in the world of photography.
I became a fan of Martynas’ images from the first viewing. There is a transparency, almost a three-dimensional quality to them. As if it were possible to put my hand through the screen and feel air. This gifted Lithuanian gentleman lives in Trondheim, Norway, and treks to the most breathtaking vistas for his art.
Martynas describes “a style best defined by dramatic, moody, cinematic imagery,” and “a love of unsettled, somber and changing weather.” Indeed. Visit his site for high-resolution prints. Check in at the Facebook page as well.
