The predecessor publication to Central Standard Time was a social experiment conducted in the spirit of discovery, The Chicago Progressive. A literate, erudite group of adults from all walks of life came together and had something to say. The topics ranged from abject humor to the quest for justice in a cold, hard world.
Once again, this verbose bunch from across the country joins forces to start a conversation. There is an enduring image of the largest dinner table you can imagine; food and drink from all over the globe graces a checkered table cloth. It is a virtual dinner party of never-ending interests and illuminating dialog. Art, politics, sports, music, global views, zen, science, photography, social commentary, food, education, verse, jocular essays…and on and on.
Join us. I can promise there will never be a dull moment.
